What is the benefit of heterogeneous classrooms?

EMOTIONAL
They all learn to work as a team and self-assess their ability to distribute tasks and functions
.
They understand that they are different and that it is positive if they work together.
It fosters tolerance and empathy towards younger children and those who face the world in a different way.
It makes them forget comparisons or competitions since they are all part of the same room and collaborate on a common project.
Many children are there in the room?

What is the benefit of heterogeneous classrooms?

ACADEMIC
All the classrooms of the schools in Playa del Carmen, even the most traditional ones, are heterogeneous, not only because of their age (sometimes there are 11 months difference) but also because of their skills and personalities.
By allowing three grades to work together, we give flexibility to students who need support in a subject, avoiding their frustration and allow those who are more advanced in a subject to continue advancing, which avoids boredom and therefore conflicts in the classroom. .
Are they in the SEP?

We are not in the SEP but our students do certify their degree according to the curriculum of Mexico or the United States.
Fortunately home learning and alternative teaching methods have come a long way since the pandemic.
Our children will be able to prepare for the INEA or Stanford 10 exams during school hours and at no extra cost, if their parents so wish.
Do you already have students?

Although Escuela Viva is a new project, we started it with the trust of many parents who know us and want, just like us, to bring an alternative and structured education to Playa del Carmen.
We have 7 places for each age, you can write to us to find out if we have available for your child's age.
Are they an Inclusive School?

OF COURSE!
Children with disabilities or difficulties are integrated into the same project and activities as their peers, paying close attention to their specific needs through our psychologist and support staff in the classrooms.
Each case is evaluated individually and the school adapts to the students, not the students to the school.
